Cloud Vault use Argon2id to hash passwords. Your Cloud Vault password provide the secret wey dem use create your encryption key. You need that same password to decrypt the backup for another device.

Choose strong cloud vault password
Cloud Vault already use strong security: AES-256 encryption, Argon2id password hashing and extra encryption while files dey stored. Long, random password wey you no reuse make this protection stronger, because e make the encryption key wey come from your password harder to guess.
- Make am long. Aim for at least 16 characters. Password manager fit generate one for you.
- Make am hard to guess. No use names, birthdays, common phrases or simple patterns.
- Use am only for Cloud Vault. Choose password wey different from your other accounts and app passcode.

Set up Cloud Vault inside the app
Cloud Vault need Premium, account and internet for backup and sync.
Turn on Cloud Vault
Open the latest app and go Settings → Cloud Vault. Follow the instructions to set up Premium and account.
Create your password and keep am safe
Choose strong Cloud Vault password and keep safe record of am.
Let backup finish
Wait make your files finish uploading before you open your backup inside the app for another device.

My photos go back up automatically when I install the app?
No. To use the vault for your device no mean say Cloud Vault don turn on. You must set up Cloud Vault and let your files finish uploading. Files wey dey only your phone no be separate cloud backup.
Your team fit see my backed-up files?
No. Cloud Vault encrypt files for your device with key wey come from your Cloud Vault password before upload. We no dey receive your password, so our team no fit decrypt or see the photos and videos for your backup.
I fit use Cloud Vault for web browser?
No. Our guide on how to enter the app explain how to open Cloud Vault for your phone. Browser login no dey.
Wetin happen if I forget my Cloud Vault password?
Nobody fit recover your Cloud Vault password. E no dey go our servers, so our team no fit retrieve am for you. Your app passcode and recovery email no fit recover am either. If you still fit open your files for one device, keep that access and contact support to know your options before you delete the app or change device.
Wetin I suppose check before I delete the app?

Wetin happen if Premium expire?
