HOW IT WORKS
If another person has biometric access on your device, a Face ID prompt alone may not provide the privacy boundary you want. Requiring your vault PIN as well means that biometric access by itself does not open the vault.
Private Photo Vault® supports Face ID and Touch ID access on compatible Apple devices. The combined Face ID-plus-PIN option is for people who want both checks. Review the options available on your device and test the actual unlock flow after you change them.
Choose a vault PIN different from your phone code and avoid sharing it with people who only need access to the phone. Biometrics and a PIN are access controls; AES encryption protects files stored in the vault.
