A separate decoy password
Keep your main collection out of the decoy view
HOW IT WORKS
Decoy Password gives you an alternate vault that opens with a different password. Entering the decoy password shows that alternate collection rather than opening your main private collection. It provides a separate view inside the app, beyond simply changing its icon.
You may want to show a friend a few everyday photos without opening your personal collection. Keep photos you are comfortable showing in the decoy vault, then open it with the decoy password. Your main collection stays out of that view.
Imagine showing a family member your holiday pictures. Opening the decoy vault lets you show the collection you prepared for that moment, rather than browsing through your main private photos and videos in front of them. Lock the app before switching between vaults.
Your main vault password and decoy password have different jobs. Use your main password when you want your main collection, and the decoy password when you want the alternate vault. After configuring the feature, lock and reopen the app with each password to check which collection appears.
A separate vault passcode controls access, AES encryption protects stored files, and Decoy Password changes which vault you open. Together, these features give you more control over your private photo and video collection. Copies left in your camera roll, messages or other apps still need to be managed separately.
