Confirm say backup don finish
“Backup enabled” and “backup complete” no mean the same thing. Files wey never finish uploading no fit restore from that backup. Weak connection or plenty videos fit make completion take longer than you expect.
- Turn on Cloud Vault inside app and set long, random Cloud Vault password wey you no reuse.
- Save that password somewhere safe, like password manager.
- Let files wey you need finish backing up.
- Before you stop using old phone, confirm say files wey you need dey open for new device. Keep old copy until you check.

Free space carefully
Use Space Saver inside app the way dem design am, instead of deleting app to make space. Removing app fit remove files wey dey only that device.
Think of photo-library backup separately too. iCloud Photos sync deletions across devices wey use that library. No treat am as independent archive wey must keep photo after you delete am from synced library.
