Delete your account

Before deleting

Export any photos and videos you want to keep before deleting your data. Deletion can be permanent. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Delete local app data

If Cloud Vault is disabled, uninstalling the app removes the vault files stored on that phone. Removing only the Home Screen icon does not uninstall the app.

Delete your Cloud Vault account

Open the app, go to Settings, select Cloud Vault, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete and confirm. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your Cloud Vault account.

Request help with deletion

If you cannot delete your account in the app, contact support using your Cloud Vault email address. State that you want to delete your Cloud Vault account. The team may need to verify ownership. Do not include your password or private files.

This sends a support request; it does not automatically delete your account.
